چکیده
During the past few decades, vertical farming has attracted a lot of interest as an alternative food production method. Vertical farms use engineered growth environments and hydroponic cultivation techniques for growing plants indoors. One important factors in different is amount nutrients, which can be measured electrical conductivity (EC). Studying optimal EC avoiding nutrient loss deficiency farms. In this study, we investigated effect five levels (2, 1.2, 0.9, 0.7, 0.5 dS m?1) Hoagland solution on development basil cultivar ‘Emily’ lettuce ‘Batavia-Caipira’. environmental parameters were kept fixed using automatic dosing machine. The experiment was done ebb–flow technique with temperature 20 ± 1 °C, relative humidity 50–60%, CO2 concentration 450 ppm, pH = 6, PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density) 215 5.5 ?mol m?2 s?1, photoperiod 16:8 h (day/night). Each treatment replicated four times. We studied effects several (including dry fresh weight leaves roots, number leaves, leaf area) well chlorophyll nitrogen leaves. According to results, among treatments have been significantly higher 1.2 0.9 m?1. These values are lower than recommended value given optimum previous studies. However, show trends full strength 2

متن کاملElectrical Conductivity of Nutrient Solution, Plant Growth and Fruit Quality of Soilless Grown Tomato
Tomato plants (cv. Naomi) were grown until the 8 cluster in a greenhouse during Aug. 1998 – Jan. 1999 using a closed sub-irrigated soilless system. Plants were raised in pots (10 L) filled with peat and pomice (1:2 v:v) substrate. Forty days after transplanting 3 nutrient solutions (NS) with electrical conductivity (EC) of 2, 4, and 6 dS/m were applied to the plants. The ECs were achieved by pr...
